We all make mistakes in our lives
Some of them can eat us up inside
Regretting the choices that we have made
Wishing to go back and make a change
My biggest mistake was being with you
Letting all your lies and deceptions slip through
I should've known better the first time around
When you stomped my heart into the ground
But I truly believed that I could make it work
For a moment I forgot you were a selfish jerk
